The small parking area before you climb Miðfell. This is where you go up (google maps directions make no sense) . The path leads over wooden steps, then up the mountain. Don't trust Google maps, trust geocaching!
There is another cache up on the mountain! It's not a difficult hike, a bit steep, but short, and at the top there is a beautiful lake! My favorite place of all my caches! Well worth a visit.
As with all my caches, I appreciate your help with maintenance. If the container is missing or broken, and you have an extra one, feel free to replace. If the log is wet or full, feel free to throw it away and replace it with any scrap paper you may have on hand :)
