Geocache Description:

Welcome to the second in the Gone in 60 Seconds Series

If you are familiar with the movie you will know that there was a list of 50 cars that needed to be boosted (stolen), you do not need to steal any cars to find this cache. My intention is to create another 48 caches named after each of those cars, this is the second one on the list 2 1962 Aston Martin DB1 - Barbara.

Retrospectively known as the DB1, the 2-Litre Sports was the first Aston Martin to come about after World War Two. Now under the ownership and direction of Sir David Brown, he resurrected the project known as ‘Atom’, which was abandoned due to the war effort. This prototype was the foundation for Aston’s entry into the Spa 24-hour race, which it subsequently won. The car was very advanced at the time, and featured all-round coil spring suspension, which set the precedent for future Aston Martins. Despite the overall ability of the DB1, it was a massive commercial failure, and a total of just 15 were sold.

Just like stealing cars, stealth must be used at all times.
