Mason-Dixon Line Boundary Stones
From 1763 to 1767, Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon conducted one of the most important land surveys in American History, partially drawing the line between what were once slave states and free-soil states. Every mile they would place a boundary stone, and every 5 miles they would place a crownstone. These stones weighed upwards of 400 pounds. Some of these have been well preserved, while others have been enveloped by nature.
To solve this rather simple puzzle you will just have to use prior knowledge, and maybe even some help from the interwebs.
You are solving for these final coordinates: N39 43.ABB W077 29.BCA
The stones they used were shipped from where? (A=0 Austria) (A=2 England) (A=1 Spain)
The Mason-Dixon Line was made to settle a dispute between which two families? (B=8 Penn & Washington) (B=0 Calvert & Penn)
About how many stones were placed in their survey? (C=6 133) (C=4 149) (C=7 101)
The cache you seek is at a very interesting place which I recently discovered and thought it would be perfect for a geocache. Remember to BYOP and have fun! Stealth shouldn't be an issue out in the woods...
