There is no physical cache at Stamford railway station but there is an event on Saturday 26th August 2023 at 17:45 for half an hour.

Stamford station opened by the Midland Railway on the 1st May 1848. For a short period it was named as Stamford Town but reverted to Stamford in 1966 after the closure of the Stamford East station. The original station building still stands although the goods yard has long gone. Lincs in brackets appear not to confused this station with Stamford Hill in north London. Today there are generally an hourly services from Peterborough and Leicester in either direction.
Meet the host by the old signal box on the car park side of the station for a geochat and an exchange of Trackables.
