２０２３年　福島県民の日
明治９年８月２１日に、旧福島県・磐前県・若松県の３県が合併して福島県が誕生したことから、平成９年にこの日を県民の日に制定しました。これを記念して福島県を愛するジオキャッシャー有志で2023年8月21日6時にキャッシュの一斉公開をすることにしました。

2023 Fukushima Citizen's Day
On August 21st, 1877, former Fukushima Prefecture, Iwasaki Prefecture and Wakamatsu Prefecture were merged to form new Fukushima Prefecture. In commemoration of this, we, the volunteers who love Fukushima Prefecture, decided to open caches to the public at 6:00 on August 21, 2023.

国道３５２号線の岩本橋の隣には吊り橋の主塔が両岸に残されています。 と、その主塔を見学しようと立ち寄ったところ、水力発電関連の施設なのかなと思われる施設がありました。建物を観察したものの詳細は分からず。キャッシュはこの建物から少し離れた場所に設置しています。木々も多く、落石もある場所なので、探索の際は十分に注意してください。
