World Wide Flash Mob Event XX - Two Lovers Point
On September 9, Wonderful Weirdos Day and Teddy Bear Day are celebrated across America. This is also the same day geocachers around the world participate in the World Wide Flash Mob Event. For our WWFM XX Flash Mob Event, the Guam Geocachers will be celebrating both Wonderful Weirdos Day and Teddy Bear Day!
For Wonderful Weirdos Day, there’s nothing as unexciting as being predictable and boring. But thankfully for all of us, we all have some weird traits or characteristics. This weirdness is exactly what makes us unique! A wonderful way to celebrate Wonderful Weirdos Day is by dressing up like a weirdo. Wear a funny costume and accessories, dye your hair in an unusual color, or wear prints that you would not otherwise.
Teddy Bear Day is also celebrated on September 9, and is a day set aside for everyone to bring out all their teddy bears to thank them for their companionship, the wonderful moments we’ve had with them, and all the days and nights they’ve comforted us. The teddy bear is one of the most popular toys for children, and it occupies a particular place in the hearts of many adults as well. Teddy Bear Day is a holiday dedicated to this adorable teddy animal. It allows people to take Teddy out of the closet and make them the focus of attention.
For our Flash Mob event, dress up like a weirdo and bring your Teddy Bear. We'll parade around Two Lovers Point for all to enjoy our weirdness and teddy bears (or any favorite stuffed animal)!
