Note: The road is very rough on a small part of way leading to Steðji.
Steðji, or Staupasteinn (anvil or cup) is an interesting rock with a very unusual formation that you can find in Hvalfjörður. It's hidden behind a remarkable hill from the main road and the view from the top of that hill is wonderful.
The cache is a rather big iron container with a plastic lid that is however loosely fitted. I made hinges with tape so please handle it gently :) I put swag inside but there is no pen.
It's best to follow the path to the top of the hill from the parking place and then follow it to its end to the left. Good, sturdy shoes are necessary.
