Following the UNESCO Cycling Route (Southeast of Albania) you will pass by Banja Lake, which is close to Elbasan, Cërrik and Gramsh. This area has slowly become a tourist destination for its natural, ancient and cultural values and the hydropower plant (Hidrocentrali i Banjës). From this rest area you will have a great view on the lake, the dam and the bridge.

Enjoy the view of the bridge: Ura e Liqenit të Banjës
It is the longest bridge in Albania to date (as of 2020), with a length of 520 meters and a height of 56 meters. Crossing this bridge shows an outstanding panoramic view of the lake.
The view is great, unfortunately some tourists are not and leave trash in the parking area, the wind carries it away and we find all kind of trash in the nature. Please consider doing some CITO when searching for this cache to keep the view clean and enjoyable for all.
