Geocache Description:

This is the Lucky_Turtle origin story.

8/24/12 was the day 11 years ago. I'd recently been forced into the smart phone era by the turtle wife, and I realized immediately that my new phone had GPS capability and there was an app for geocaching. I knew about geocaching having searched for a few while hiking with my brother-in-law in Colorado, but I'd never actually found or logged any on my own.

I set up an account with the lamest geo-name ever. I was a newbie and used my email address. Geo-Noob! I didn't even know what a booger was. Later, at 100 finds, I decided on Lucky_Turtle because I used little stone turtles as luck magnets when I played poker, and I kept winning although I now think it was because my friends were terrible at cards.

Anyway, I was shocked to discover there was a hide two blocks from the house, and a group that consisted of my 3 kids and a few of their cousins, walked over. We looked everywhere and were having quite a bit of trouble, but we kept at it and eventually discovered the well-hidden cache. GC2BWVH "The RB Good Taste".

After consulting with Drex333 (He's a neighbor.), he said my cache is in the easy category so if you are new and you have trouble, just ask for help. I may walk over if it's after business hours or on the weekend.
