One of Googong's newest assets has just opened with a panoramic lookout at its highest location.

There is a meandering 3 minute walk to a peak with vistas in every direction. There is new seating , shelters and signage of the history and birdlife all around.
The whole lookout shelter site design has been inspired by the tail feathers of the Glossy Black Cockatoo. The Glossy Black Cockatoo is also known as the Casuarina Cockatoo and is listed as an endangered species. They have a striking black-brown body and red-orange tail panels with adult females showing yellow patches on the head and neck. All the colours are implemented into the huge shelter.
The cache is a well hidden micro .Bring a pen.
