Geocache Description:

This cache is number 3 in a series of caches placed around Lesmahagow, Kirkmuirhill and Blackwood.

Kirkmuirhill Parish Church was built in 1868 by the United Presbyterian Church and the architect was Robert Baldie. It was built in the early English Gothic Revival style. The church spire dominates the local landscape. Four stained glass windows by Robert Paterson (1941), Douglas Hamilton (1954) and Linda Fraser (1986) adorn the church. The church is a C listed building and the local parish Church for the villages of Kirkmuirhill, Blackwood and the surrounding areas.

The cache is a small lock and lock storage box located adjacent to the Church containing a paper log, pencil, some swappables and a smiley trolley token for the First to Find. You can park in the local streets and walk to the cache but beware of sometimes busy traffic.

Please replace the cache as you found it.
