Muddy Run Park is open dawn to dusk. No alcoholic beverages allowed.
While there is no beer here, there are deer here. It's rare for me to visit the park and not see at least one deer. Today was no exception.
The small test-tube container is tied to a small stick and nestled in a vertical hole about 3-feet up the trunk of a sweet birch tree that is sort of part of a clump of similar trees. Its neighbor has fallen over and won't be getting up. This is an open area with little undergrowth. But it's along the Lakeshore Trail and a good mile hike each way. It's a significant hike. Be prepared.
