The Odakyu Line tracks are separated by only a single fence, so trains in the direction of Odawara pass by incessantly in close proximity, making this park irresistible to children who love trains.

上原児童遊園地（愛称：汽車公園）は敷地の3分の1以上を、坂道の途中にあるという高低差を活かしたコンクリート製の滑り台で構成しています。
小田急線の線路とはフェンス一枚を隔てただけの距離なので、小田原方面の電車が間近をひっきりなしに通り、電車好きのお子様には堪らない公園です。
