Where: Krispy Kreme Donuts 11506 Abercorn St, Savannah, GA 31419
What: All geocachers are invited to come meet & greet & eat with other local geocachers, regardless of where you live or how much geocaching experience you have. There is no membership, and you are NOT required to purchase food or beverage from the restaurant.
This event will be held in the open patio area. There are several different establishments along Abercorn where you can get your favorite breakfast items and/or your favorite coffee beverage if donuts aren't your thing. The event will start at 8:00 AM and end somewhere around 8:30 in the morning. That way, you'll still have plenty of time to do whatever you want to do for the rest of the day. Might I suggest the GGA Event GCAATDD at 11 AM? We'll be on the patio if you want to bring your pooches to the event.
Please log your attendance with a "Will Attend" as soon as you can and include how many people will be coming with you so that the host and restaurant can be prepared to accommodate our group.
About SAGE: A group of cachers from Savannah and the surrounding area has been working to put on events, CITOs, and hide caches in new areas. We have decided also to start hosting a monthly meet & greet! SAGE2023 (SAvannah GEocaching) moniker was created to bring cachers together! We intend to host "Meet& Greet" dinners each month and will occasionally have informative meetings, CITO events, flash mob events, and other group events. The goal is to get to know the other geocachers in our community and have a good time fellowshipping with each other. And, finally, put faces with the names you keep seeing in the logs!
