Cloudland Canyon State Park sits on Lookout Mountain in the NW corner of the state of Georgia. There is a $5 daily entrance fee to Cloudland Canyon State Park, unless you are a member of the Friends of Georgia State Parks!
Various parking options for this cache, as the Meadowlands Trail can be accessed from the Interpretive Center parking or the higher parking lot near the disc golf course. The container is a short distance off the Meadowlands trail, within sight of the Group Lodge, but don't park there!
Placed with permission of the park manager and park naturalist. Please take care to understand the basic rules of geocaching in order to help keep the game enjoyable for all who participate. Please do not move or vandalize the container. Replace the cache like or better than you found it (exactly where you found it).
Sign the log book and leave it in the cache. If you want to take any of other items in the cache, they are there for trade; be sure to leave something of equal or greater value, but don't leave any kind of food items, or anything that is highly aromatic, which could attract critters/creatures/rodents/bugs!
All trails close at sunset, so this is a daylight-only find.
