We arrived early for our train at St Denys Station for our trip away geocaching up North. Sitting on a bench on the platform along with around 50 other people. There were two clocks on the wall which had stopped working. The arms on both were stuck at 1.30. James, my sailor friend and I discussed this being a little strange. We then saw a super sprinter fleet train go past so quickly we only caught the 6 at the end of the number on it.
On the west platform, there were some railway staff practicing railway block code. They were helping each other with ringing the bells for calling attention and asking is the line clear for light engine.
We continued chatting about random codes which are used in different services or sectors. We wondered what national rail used. We then saw the caledonian sleeper train go past. It was loveley spending time in the sun while drinkign some coke zero. We quickly boarded and off we went under the bridge.
