BRAVO BUSHFIRE!
Bushfire has been a well known member of the Geocaching community in Geelong, and further afield, since 2005.
As most geocachers know, Bushfire is currently battling Motor Neuron Disease and has been doing so for the last 18 months.
He is looking forward to having a chat to everyone who can come to this event and we look forward to geocachers being able to support him in whatever way they can.
There will be a chance to support Bushfire in a tangible way – more details will be forthcoming.
Date – Saturday 7th October
Location – Waurn Ponds Hotel 5.30 – 7.30. If you would like to order a meal you will be able to do so.
Please indicate in your Attendance Log how many people from your caching team will be attending this event.
Note – Laurie is keen to support the MND association in Victoria that is giving him ongoing support in Geelong. There will be an opportunity to purchase items or to make a donation direct to the MND association. There is absolutely no obligation to buy anything and Laurie would value catching up with you regardless.
