Welome to Little Paris! I don't know anywhere else in Singapore where you can find old cobblestone lined street like the ones you find in Europe except on Duxton Hill. I chose Paris instead of other European cities because it is dotted with quaint restaurants, bars and cafes that spill out onto the sidewalk of this pedestrianised street, and also because the French entrecote and frite restaurant that has been there for ages.
"Duxton hill is located along Tanjong Pagar Road and is home to a buzzing nightlife near the Chinatown area. A little history of this area is that it was formerly a 13 hectares nutmeg plantation owned by a British surgeon who came to Singapore in 1819. After his death, the area was divided into small area and sold off to many developers. Duxton Road used to be a rowdy area where many vice trades are gathered at. Many of the shophouses located here are built by the wealthy Chinese and are exquisitely designed. Duxton shophouses are now all conserved by Singapore government. It now houses restaurants, bars and many boutique hotels." (*Source: https://sg.trip.com/moments/detail/singapore-53-13196348)
