Welcome HOME! When someone gave me this beautiful camo birdhouse, I knew immediately what it would become! (Sorry, birdies!) This garden spot was the perfect place to make it easily accessible, yet secure. The cache is in plain sight-- no stealth needed-- and can be enjoyed by all ages. To access the log and pen, just unscrew the cover at the door of the upper birdhouse (Note: Don't try to remove the container-- it's glued in.) Since the top of the birdhouse doesn't open, I added a a 2nd birdhouse underneath for swag. The door swings up using the knob, but don't force it too far. The swag is in a zip lock baggie. Muggles will also have access to the cache, so it might not be safe to leave trackables here. Before you leave, please make sure everything is shut tight to keep contents dry.
I was asked to make it available only during daylight hours because people live in this area. I have included a waypoint for parking. Please supervise your children closely, as there can be a lot of traffic and workers in the area. (Dogs should remain in vehicles.) I received permission from the property management to place this cache here, so I kindly ask that everyone please be respectful of this privilege so it can remain here a long time. Thanks!
