This cache is part of my Lost Series of Geocaches with each cache representing episodes of the series Lost. This cache represents Season 5, episode 16 (The Incident) in which the question "What lies in the shadow of the statue?" is asked. The answer "Ille qui nos omnes servabit" (He who will save us all.) At the right time of day the near-by statue's shadow should fall in this direction. Most of the rest of the day, the cache should be in the shadow of the tree. This cache also represents Season 6 epsiode 16 (What they Died for.) Be sure to check out the near-by "Spirit of the American Doughboy" World War I memorial statue. The statue was dedicated May 4, 1923. The cache is NOT on the statue itself.
This cache will require stealth as there are usually people coming and going from the surrounding businesses. You should be able to park pretty close to the cache location. At times, you might even be able to park in the shadow of the cache's location. There are sidewalks next to the location, so you won't have to get very far off of them to find the cache.
When the cache was placed there were ants on this and other trees in the park, so be mindful of them. This also seems like a good home for spiders, so be careful where you reach. Please reattach the cache to the branch when nestling it back into its hiding place. This will help it not blow away in the wind.
Anyone at least 5' 5" may be able to see the cache and reach it with relative ease. Shorter cachers may need a little help. You are looking for a blue pill bottle with a design painted on it.
