This geocache celebrates the Fairy Tree in Norfolk, Virginia, and is registered in the Historic American Landscape Survey. The Fairy Tree anchors a village of magical creatures such as fairies, elves, hedgicorns, hobgoblins, and trolls. They answer letters from folks of all ages who write to the Fae and get a hand-written reply. There is no charge for visits, letters, love, or magic here. The Fae have answered nearly 3,000 letters and counting since July 2020.
Here dwell fairies who bring hope.
The geocache is a Tupperware-style small container. It is placed in the village with the landowner's and fairies' permission. However it is NOT the home to the fairy letters. It is nearby and should pop out from the landscape.
Watch out for Muggles! Depending on the time of day, there may be many about. Also, seasonally you may need to watch out for mosquitos.
