Geocache Description:

This cache is placed for the Happy New Year 2024 event hosted by gsix5666 - thank you Mr. Six for continuing this tradition of starting the new caching year on a high note!

After Miguel Cabrera won the Triple Crown award in 2012, my friend BSW2010 and I placed 17 traditional caches for each time an MLB player won the Triple Crown award. Earlier this year, I placed 27 mystery caches for each MLB player that has joined the 500 home run club in a sequel series. To finish off the Miguel Cabrera trilogy of cache series, I'm releasing 33 new multi caches in honor of Miggy and for each MLB player that is a member of the 3,000 hits club.

At the posted coords, you'll find a sticker - silver with black text regarding the company that built the lightpost. On the last line of text is a year, we'll call it ABCD. Using the posted north coords, subtract CA to get the new north coords. Using the posted west coords, add A+C+D to get the new west coords. All stages are accessible from the service drive without having to climb over any fences; there is no need to stop on I-696 to find this cache.
