- There is NOTHING in the ship - it is there to look at only.
- Any attempt to remove the ship will only result in it being broken into pieces
- BOTH handles must be unlocked before the lid is lifted Straight Up. Both handles must be held and the lid put straight down lined up with the white strips on the front face to close it, before BOTH handles are locked - at the same time._________________________________________________________________
Argh! I be Pirate Jim, an' this be me 'cache. It be a Special one bein' that it'll come out with all other Pirate Project 'caches on September 19, 2023 - 'Talk Like a Pirate Day'. Har-arr-arr-arrgh! 'Caches'll pop up all over the world loik daisies to a landlubber!
But ye'll be wantin' t'know more about th'cache itsel'. Awlroit - here's the tale. Fer years Oi an' me buccaneers roamed the high seas, piratin' aboard th'Leaky Squid. Many a fat Merchantman we boarded and pillaged, takin' all th'treasure fer our own, aye! An'then the toime came t'hoide the Treasure. And so we went - where? Oak Oisland? Nay, not ther'. Mebbe t'Cape Cod t'rival Blue Beard's hoard? Nay, not ther' either.
To Kaintucky we went. An' we went from the Mississippi to th'Ohio and crept down th'river to Land Between th'Lakes, aye. We put in at Turkey Bay an' we marched inland. To th' Turkey Bay Baptist Church grounds we went - at noight when nary a soul war ther'. An' we found th' best place to set our hoard t'ground.
It's ther'! Hunnerds of Gold Doubloons, Spanish Reales - GEMS! Hunnerds of all shapes an' colors of th'rainbow! An SWAG t'pop yer oies! Aye Harrgh! An' you can s h a r e in our hoard fer findin' it. It's there, hidden UNDER th'Leaky Squid! UNDER it I tells ye! Har-har-arrrgh!
So have's a care as ye open the 'cache for ye'll be seein' her, th'Leaky Squid in all her glory. And be thoughtful - take a mite of the Treasure, and leave the rest fer other Geocachers who'll come. Sign th'log an'take Your Treasure home.
