This is our first cache. My parents found this spot 40 years ago and I recently rediscovered it. It is a great place for a bike ride or a walk. You used to be able to drive very close to the cache site but they have gated the road (making it an even better bike route for young families). It is still just a short flat walk from the day use parking area (hint).
The Rubbermaid bread container occasionaly got wet so we have replaced it with an ammo box. At last check there was lots of fun stuff in it.
Enter the park at N48.12.487, W122.39.219 or N48.11.771, W122.38.887. The woods are fairly dense and I lost the signal on my Etrex a couple of times. This may create a challenge.
While you are in the area, visit historic Coupeville, Fort Casey, and Fort Ebey or just enjoy the farms and the beaches.
