What’s the 1498?  The number of towns in the New England states. twilighter has done an amazing job putting a checker in place to assist with calculating and tracking the progress for Cachers. As of this cache date, there are three Cachers that have logged a cache in all 1498 towns. 

Yukionna was the first on November 7, 2021. The JEM3 on August 28, 2022, followed by  anniebananie on September 10, 2022. It should not be long till Sloth96 gets to the magic number. They are 6 short, and twilighter only needs 8 more towns (islands).

To locate the cache. Do a projection of 1498 feet at 132 degrees, from the posted coordinates.
