A couple of weeks ago (more like a couple of months ago by now) ncbiscuit held a maker's event for creating letterboxes. A fun time was had by all with the hopes of getting more letterbox caches out in play. GCA93QV Maker Magic: For the ❤️ of Letterboxes (Event Cache) in North Carolina, United States created by ncbiscuit (geocaching.com)
Instead of placing the container and saying go for it because it has a stamp in it, I'm trying my best to lead you on the path to the container. My steps are shorter than most adults, but I did try my best to take longer steps and I placed some clues to help along the way.
Start at the listed location. It should be the end of a fence.
Take seven (7) steps down the path towards the yellow bollards/Third Fork Road.
If it takes you more or less than seven (7) steps, use this to adjust your pacing to mine for the next set of steps.
Turn 90-degrees counter clock-wise and face the woods (your back should be to parking)
Take 56 steps SSW into the woods. There is sort-of a path here. At this point you should at a small widow-maker over the head of most.
Look towards 2-o'clock and spot the downed pine trying to take out another tree and spot the cache at their intersection.
Enjoy!
