Fr: Bienvenue à Givrins ! Village mentionné depuis bientôt 1 000 ans.  En passant entre la boulangerie et le facteur de clavecin vous arrivez au poids public. Un des derniers en activité du canton, naguère fierté des villages vaudois. Il est encore utilisé par les agriculteurs et les vignerons pour peser leur recolte.

 

Eng: Welcome to Givrins! The first mention of the village is nearly 1000 years old. Passing between the bakery and the harpsichord workshop, you will reach the weigh house, one of the last still in activity in the canton, former glory of vaudois villages. It is still used by farmers and winemakers to weigh their harvests.

Ukr: Ласкаво просимо до Жівран! Першій згадці цього села вже майже 1 000 років. Пройшовши між булочною і майстернею клавесинів ви опинитеся біля громадських ваг. Вони є одними з останніх функціонуючих ваг у регіоні і їх все ще використовують виробники вина і фермери для зважування врожаю.
