Sir Wilfred Laurier & Buena Vista Parks Cache In, Trash Out Event: Earn a CITO Season 2 Souvenir!

What better way to celebrate this Labour Day weekend than to start with labour to improve our environment?! This is the first CITO I'm hosting (inspired by a couple of great local August CITOs I attended) – come out and celebrate my favourite day of the year with me!

Meet at the posted coordinates to sign the log. Trash bags and a few supplies will be provided. Please bring your own grabber and gloves if you have them.  The trash you collect may be placed in the trash containers in the area or returned to the meeting location (conveniently in the small parking lot that is between the two parks). Between these two conencted parks, I suspect there is more than enough garbage for us to fill a few bags.

FURRY FRIEND NOTE: Buena Vista is an off-leash dog park, whereas Sir Wilfred Laurier Park is not. Bring your 4-legged pals and have them frolic with other canines at Buena Vista, or stay in the quiter, less doggy side at Sir Wilfred Laurier. The choice is yours!

Explore the Natural playground, Yorath House, and all the other treats the area has to offer. There are some great caches in the area, and a Lab or two as well! Hope to see you there.
