Santa Caterina di Pittinuri e la Torre di Pittinuri
Santa Caterina si è sviluppata nel periodo successivo alla seconda guerra mondiale nei dintorni dell'omonima Chiesa, e nelle vicinanze di una delle Torri costiere della Sardegna costruite dagli spagnoli a partire dall'Alto Medioevo.
La torre in questione è detta "torre di Pittinuri" e sorge a un'altezza di 28 metri sul livello del maree su rocce calcaree. Da questa posizione è possibile ammirare tutta la borgata e la baia, racchiusa tra pareti di rocce bianche calcaree.
La torre non è visibile internamente. La strada per raggiungerla è sterrata ma facilmente percorribile anche in auto.

Santa Caterina di Pittinuri was developed in the period following the Second World War in the surroundings of the church of the same name, and near of one of the coastal towers of Sardinia built by the Spaniards starting from the early Middle Ages.
The tower in question is called "Torre di Pittinuri" and rises to a height of 28 meters above sea level on limestone rocks. From this position it is possible to admire the whole village and the bay, enclosed between walls of white limestone rocks.
The tower is not visible internally. The road is unpaved but easily passable even by car.
