Here's an unusual cache hide for ya'! This one is a micro tube, hidden about head high. It won't be too hard to find, but it's the getting there that will provide the twist. The cache is located in a narrow alley that I stumbled across when I exited the stairwell of the adjacent parking garage (free parking is on levels 5, 6, and 7). The exit deposited me on the east side of the garage, in a wide alley, and my first attempt to make it to the main street led me to a dead end in a very narrow alley between buildings. While it isn't a scenic journey...and do NOT wear open-toed footwear here, because the alley has trash that no doubt dates back years...it's definitely an unusual caching experience. Secluded alleyways are usually the province of big cities...it's rare to stumble into one in this part of town.
I hid the cache several months ago and forgot to publish it...I checked on it today (8-21-23) and it was still where I left it, so it appears to be a pretty secure spot. You may have a less-than-perfect coordinate read here because of the large buildings that will be surrounding you, but if you've made it into the alleyway, you'll be able to figure out the likely cache host without too much difficulty...there are three similar hosts along the way, but there aren't many other options here where a cache could be hidden at head level. Note: Only the bravest of souls should consider doing this one at night...darkened alleyways have a reputation...spooookyyyyyyy.....but I've always had the place to myself the four times I've been down this alley in the daytime!
