I love baseball. I remember going to baseball games with my dad growing up in San Diego. I remember when he got us tickets to Game 4 of the 1998 World Series...Padres vs. Yankees. Unfortunately, the Padres got swept, but to this day that game remains one of my very favorite baseball memories. 1998 was a great year for the Padres with players such as Tony Gwynn, Ken Caminiti, Steve Finley, Trevor Hoffman, Kevin Brown, and many more. Not to mention the Friar! Definitely some fun times.
Fast forward many years, my husband's work brought us to Peoria, AZ, Spring Training Home of the San Diego Padres. Couldn't pass up an opportunity to place a cache here, especially a Padres themed one. Enjoy!
