Placed 10/13/02 but not available until now. Used as a school science project for the past month.
Directions to Oak Hill from intersection of route 110 and 2A/119 in Littleton:
Head west on route 2A for two miles to the left intersection with King street (Sunoco gas station/Clyde’s car wash on corner). Take this left and proceed straight over railroad tracks to 4-way stop intersection. Cross intersection and continue straight on Sanderson Road (Johnson’s convenience store on left) for another tenth of a mile to fork. Go right at fork onto Oak Hill Road. Continue for another 200 yards to trail-head on right. Look carefully - sign is set back from road.
Park in the small parking area (N 42º 32.234, W 71º 31.061) and get onto the trail system.
Proceed to the highest point on Oak Hill N 42º 32.006, W 71º 31.523 (not Summit Rock). You will then need to bushwhack your way to a V shaped tree approximately 75 yards off the trail. Cache is nearby!
The cache is a tupperware container with a white top.
Cache contents: notebook, pencil, pen, stamp and stamp pad, Furby, yo-yo, miniature skateboard, keychain, and bookmarks.
This location also serves as a letterbox location. Please do not remove the stamp or stamp pad.
NOTE: This is our first cache and we hope we made it challenging enough. Feel free to correct the coordinates if they are off. GPS was losing battery when initial readings were taken. Feedback appreciated!
