The cache is located at an easy access campsite along the Airline Road between Bangor and Canada. Even if you don't need overnight accomodations, this is a beautiful place to watch the Machias River or even throw a line in. Even better, bring a canoe or kayak and and enjoy one of the best river trips in Maine.
