My name is Maureen. My Geocaching name is Rose Red from the Brothers Grimm's story "Snow White and Rose Red". I have been Geocaching since October 2004. I live in Vancouver, Washington north of the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon.
I have created historical and other geocaches in North Portland, Oregon and Clark County, Washington i.e. "Vanport, the City that drowned". I have created 22 Earthcaches in Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Montana.
I completed the Oregon DeLorme Atlas Challenge (GCQKKE) in August 2014 and Washington State DeLorme Atlas Challenge (GCQQ9B) in August 2017. I am focusing on filling in states on the "US States I've Cached In". I have geocached in 42 States so far. This trip will give me five more states.
I have hosted Events in Washington (Vancouver, Seattle and Bellingham), Oregon, South Dakota, Virginia, Arizona, Florida, New Mexico, Georgia, Texas, Honolulu, Oahu. Tennessee and Kentucky.
