Geocache Description:

Many thanks to Pat Loll for granting me permission and helping place this cache. Please sign-in and if you can drop a buck or two in the donation bucket.


This park has a nature center, Boardwalk and picnic facilities which is a great place to bring your lunch and take a little walking during your workday lunch hour. The boardwalk trail is a self-guided tour through hammock, wet lands and pine flat-woods. Although surrounded by a commercial district, it is home to many birds and small animals, including the protected gopher tortoise and Indigo snake. Throughout the year, free guided tours are conducted Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Please obey all the rules and regulations of this park. Do not stray off of the boardwalk and please, place the cache back exactly where you found it. HOURS OF OPERATION: 8:00 a.m. to 5pm, 365 days per year If you would like to volunteer to help around here, Pat Loll said there are plenty of Air Potato (Dioscorea bulbifera) vines to pick.
