Geocache Description:



Sue (Slumped) sadly passed away on 16th July 2022 after tragically being stung in the mouth by a wasp at a birthday party and suffered (fatal) anaphylactic shock!



Interesting to know, Sue got her caching name from her intials and made into the name we all recognise.Thanks to Julie of Fab Jabs!

Suzanne LuMay Priest  ed(SLuMPed)!    The "ed" on the end reflected that she was a teacher!


The coordinates take you to the bench where you will find a plaque with two lovely red poppies on it. Sue was a staunch member of the Royal British Legion and the Poppy Appeal was very close to her heart. She organised a huge cascade of red poppies from the tower of Stowmarket church near where she lived.

On the bench in memory of Sue, there are words and numbers on the lower line.

Assign the letters A - H against the words and numbers and use them values in the formula below

The cache is situated a short walk from the church owing to the proximity of another cache!

The bench has been funded by donations (in Sue's memory) from her friends in the Geocaching Community and the Family History Society. Permission to place was given by the Ven. Mike Lodge and the relevant Church Hierarchy.

It took a long time but we got there.
