Bike&Hike Mittagskopf
Die Bike&Hike Tour startet am Parkplatz bei der Talstation der Dias Bergbahn.
Die Bike-Route schlängelt sich auf einem Forstweg hinauf zur Visnitz Alpe (1.825 m).
Dabei führt der Weg zunächst durch schattigen Wald, vorbei an dem rauschenden Wasserfall
und schließlich entlang des Visnitzbachs immer weiter in das idylische Tal hinein.

Weiter geht es über den Fahrweg bis zu einem gr0ßräumigen Umkehrplatz.
Hier solltet Ihr die Fahrräder absperren und zurücklassen.
Den der folgende Teil des Weges ist sehr unwegsam
und sollte nur mit sehr guten Schuhwerk und absoluter Trittsicherheit absolviert werden.
Die Belohnung wartet aber nicht lange auf euch.
Nach ca 30 bis 45 Minuten erreicht ihr das Bergkreuz des Mittagskopfes (2405 m).
Eine wunderbare Aussicht auf Kappl und das gesammte vordere Paznauntal erwartet euch dort.
Weiter geht es über einen Wanderpfad durch einen wunderschönen Zirbenwald,
bis ihr nach Cache #37 zu einer Abzweigung kommt. Waypoint dazu findet ihr bei #38.
Nun geht es knackig steil durch Lawinengitter
und über Steinplatten hinauf zum Lahngangkopf (2471 m).
Auf diesen Bergrücken habt ihr eine grandiose Aussicht
auf die Samnauner Alpen und den Grübelesee.

bevor ihr euch aufmacht wieder ins Tal hinunter zu steigen/fahren.

Zu beachten:
Es gibt für jeden Cache ein recht eindeutiges Spoilerbild und einen hilfreichen Hint.
Bedenken sie das im Gebirge fast kein Handyempfang sein kann.
Ich empfehle dringlichst eine Offline Liste zu erstellen, und/oder die Spoiler Fotos down zu loaden.
Es ist nicht verboten volle oder nasse Logbücher auszutauschen und eventuelle verschwunderne Caches zu ersetzen. Besten Dank dafür!
Bergrettung Österreich: Notruf 140
Bitte gebt bei einem Unfall die Koordinaten an, ihr habt ja ein GPS-Gerät. Hilfreich ist auch die Gratis-Notfall-App der Bergrettung Tirol für iPhone oder Android: 
Im Falle eines Unfalles werden durch Drücken des Knopfes die GPS-Koordinaten an die Leitstelle Tirol GmbH übermittelt und es wird eine Verbindung zur Leitstelle aufgebaut. Diese App funktioniert nur in Tirol.
Bike&Hike Mittagskopf
The Bike&Hike tour starts at the parking lot by the Dias cable car valley station.
This bike route winds its way up a forest road to the Visnitz Alpe (1.825 m).
Alonge the way, the path initally leads through a shaded forest, past the rushing waterfall,
and finally along the Visnitzstream, further into the idyllic valley.

Continue on the road until you reach a spacious turnaround point.
Here, you should lock and leave the bikes behind because the following part of the trail is very rugged
and should only be tackled with very good footwwear and absolute surefootedness.
But the reward won´t be long in coming. After about 30 to 45 minutes,
you´ll reach the summit cross of Mittagskopf (2405 m).
A wonderful view of Kappl and the entire front Paznaun valley awaits you there.
Continue on a hiking trail through a beautiful pine forest until you reach Cache #37 at a junction.
You´ll find the waypoint for it at #38.
Now it gets steep as you climb through avalanche fences
and over stone slabs to Lahngangskopf (2471 m).
From this mountain ridge, you´ll have fantastic view of the Samnaun Alps and Grübelelake.
Enjoy the silence and the panoramic view befor making your way back down to the valley.

To note:
There is a pretty clear spoiler image and a helpful hint for each cache.
Consider that there can be almost
no mobile phone reception in the mountains.
I strongly recommend creating an offline list
and/or downloading the spoiler photos.
It is not forbidden to promote full or wet logbooks

The free emergency app from Bergrettung Tirol for iPhone or Android is also helpful: in the event of an accident, pressing the button transmits the GPS coordinates to the control center Tirol GmbH and a connection to the control center is established.
This app only works in Tyrol.
