Throughout the majority of the year, the town of Mt. Pleasant displays banners with the names and pictures of local veterans. At this location, you can see the banner for Walter Hall, or Wally as he was known. Wally was a beloved member of the Mount Pleasant community and was notorious for giving out full-sized cupcakes to the kids on Halloween. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and earned five Bronze Stars. He was a very kind and genuine person, and it was an honor to have been good friends with him before he died in 2014.
Regarding the cache, please be sure to seal the log book in the bag and close the cache tightly to prevent any water damage.
