ETA/ WTS – Porto Santo
A estação de tratamento de águas da Ilha do Porto Santo, está localizada no sítio das Casinhas, próximo da Cidade da Vila Baleira. Infelizmente, a informação sobre a ETA do Porto Santo é escassa. Assim, se por acaso souber de algo, aproveite esta multi-cache para partilhar.
The water treatment plant on Porto Santo Island is located on the Casinhas site, close to the city of Vila Baleira. Unfortunately, information about Porto Santo's ETA is scarce. So, if you happen to know something, take advantage of this multi-cache to share.
[A multi-cache/ The multicache]
Esta multi-cache, surge no sentido de georreferenciar este espaço, que passa despercebido e é até mesmo desconhecido para a maioria dos visitantes do Porto Santo. Deste modo, esta multi-cache permite percorrer o espaço envolvente à ETA e assim, pode observar calmamente alguns dos espaços da ETA.
É uma simples multi-cache, constituída apenas por uma etapa virtual, em que terá algumas hipóteses, e atendendo à correta, obterá de imediato, as coordenadas finais. Apesar de ser uma multi-cache de simples resolução, encontrar a cache poderá tornar-se um “desafio”. Repare bem.
Terá de percorrer aproximadamente 400 metros, entre a primeira etapa (virtual) e as coordenadas finais. Pode percorrer este percurso de carro, pois apesar da estrada ser de terra, é acessível à maioria dos carros. Porém, aconselhamos que percorra a pé.
This multi-cache aims to georeference this space, which goes unnoticed and is even unknown to most visitors to Porto Santo. In this way, this multi-cache allows you to tour the space surrounding the ETA and thus, you can calmly observe some of the ETA's spaces.
It is a simple multi-cache, consisting of just one virtual stage, in which you will have some hypotheses, and if you choose the correct one, you will immediately obtain the final coordinates. Despite being a simple resolution multi-cache, finding the cache can become a “challenge”. Repair well.
You will have to travel approximately 400 meters, between the first (virtual) stage and the final coordinates. You can travel this route by car, as although the road is dirt, it is accessible to most cars. However, we advise you to travel on foot.

A palmeira é uma árvore abundante na Ilha do Porto Santo. A ETA do Porto Santo, não poderia fugir à “regra”, e contém na entrada, junto ao portão de entrada, palmeiras.
Para descobrir as coordenadas finais, terá de contar quantas são as palmeiras junto ao portão da entrada da ETA.
Se forem 2, vá para N 33° 3.875' W 16° 19.451'
Se forem 4, vá para N 33° 3.895' W 16° 19.431'
Se foram 6, vá para N 33° 3.915' W 16° 19.411'
Se forem 8, vá para N 33° 3.935' W 16° 19.391'
The palm tree is an abundant tree on Porto Santo Island. The Porto Santo ETA could not escape the “rule”, and has palm trees at the entrance, next to the entrance gate.
To find out the final coordinates, you will have to count the number of palm trees next to the ETA entrance gate.
