Arte Urbana/ Urban Art – Vila Baleira

Arte urbana, urbanografia ou street art é a expressão que se refere a manifestações artísticas desenvolvidas no espaço público. Estas, podem ser de caráter cultural, como ocorre na Cidade da Vila Baleira.

Urban art, urbanography or street art is the expression that refers to artistic manifestations developed in the public space. These can be of a cultural nature, as in the city of Vila Baleira.

[A multi-cache/ The multicache]

Esta multi-cache foi concebida com o intuito de proporcionar uma pequena e agradável volta no centro da cidade da Vila Baleira, ao longo de algumas pinturas que retratam o termo “arte urbana”. No total, irá percorrer quatro pinturas que expressar-se-ão através da cultura, costumes e tradições que marcam a Ilha do Porto Santo por séculos.

Não existe propriamente necessidade de realizar a multi-cache pela ordem das etapas. Contudo, é a ordem que aconselhamos, pois, as coordenadas finais estão próximas da última etapa (etapa 4). Todas as etapas são virtuais. Nas coordenadas finais, pedimos discrição na busca pela cache, a fim de mantê-la por muito tempo, dado estar num local que em certas horas é movimentado, e também por haver casas nas proximidades. Traga consigo material de escrita. Não coloque fotos da localização final, nem que comprometam as perguntas colocadas nas diversas etapas.

This multi-cache was conceived with the intention of providing a small and pleasant tour in the center of Vila Baleira, along some paintings that portray the term “urban art”. In total, you will see four paintings that will express themselves through the culture, customs and traditions that have marked Porto Santo Island for centuries.

There is really no need to multi-cache in the order of the steps. However, it is the order we recommend, as the final coordinates are close to the last stage (stage 4). All steps are virtual. In the final coordinates, we ask for discretion in the search for the cache, in order to keep it for a long time, given that it is in a place that at certain hours is busy, and also because there are houses nearby. Bring writing materials with you. Do not post photos of the final location, nor do they compromise the questions asked in the different stages.

Para descobrir as coordenadas finais, terá de visitar as 4 etapas, e responder às questões colocadas para cada pintura. Assim, descobrirá o valor quantitativo de “A, B, C e D”. Posteriormente, e findadas as respostas, basta substituir os valores obtidos pelas letras, discriminadas nas coordenadas abaixo. As etapas e as questões às mesmas podem ser igualmente consultadas nos pontos adicionais.

To discover the final coordinates, you'll have to visit the 4 stages, and answer the questions posed for each painting. Thus, you will discover the quantitative value of “A, B, C and D”. “A” corresponds to step 1, “B” corresponds to step 2, “C” corresponds to step 3, “D” corresponds to step 4.
