Melsase maja ajaloost
Melsase maja on Leisi aleviku üks vanimaid hooneid, mille ehitas ärimees Johanson 1907. aastal, mil avas seal pagariäri. Läbi aegade on hoones paiknenud erinevad poed ja ärid. II korrus, kus on paiknenud elamispinnad ja korterid, valmis majal 1921. aastal.
Melsase maja praegu
Alates 2001. aastast paikneb Melsase majas Leisi apteek. Majast on kujunenud Leisi kogukonnamaja. History of Melsase House
The Melsase house is one of the oldest buildings in Leisi township, which was built by businessman Johanson in 1907, when he opened a bakery there. Over the years, various shops and businesses have been located in the building. The second floor, where there are living spaces, was built in 1921.
Melsase house now
Since 2001, the Leisi pharmacy has been located in the Melsase building. The house has become the Leisi community house. Exciting exhibitions, trainings and other community events are organized there. In 2022, the community store Melsase Sahver was opened here, where you can find many handmade things with soul and love, made by the people of Leisi, as well as local garden products. In December, the Melsase house and its yard turn into a magical Christmas land.
The second floor of the building is currently out of use, but hopefully a lot of exciting things will happen there in the future.
