I wanted to start a series dedicated to the beautiful libraries in NH. You don’t have to find them all to log them all. While visiting the locations please be mindful of parking as sometimes the libraries hold events, and can get busy. I recommend you stop by as some of them are very fun. The Hooksett Public Library situates on the former campus known as Mount Saint Mary College. Mount Saint Mary was once an all-women’s Roman Catholic college founded by the Sister’s of Mercy. The college graduated its last class in 1978 before shutting down to low enrollment.
The Hooksett Public is now in the college’s former McAuley Library while the beautiful building next door has been turn into luxury apartments. The preschool to the library’s left was once an auxiliary building for the college and the small house right near this cache is a private residence, formerly the convent for the Sisters.
The cache is in the front parking lot for the library overlooking the expansive lawn. It should be a quick park and grab. Be mindful as sometimes there are a lot of muggles. As a small request, please consider recommending me a book your in log. Thanks!
