Earn 75 points towards the final Wheel of Challenge by attending this CITO Event!
Hurry, the Challenge ends tomorrow!
Meet at the posted coordinates to sign the log. Look for my white Jeep and a table on the right side of the road. Bring your travel bugs to swap if you have them. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Please bring your own grabber and water. The trash you collect may be placed in the trash containers in the area or returned to my location.
ABOUT CITO - CACHE IN TRASH OUT
Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. In that time, more than 363,000 people have volunteered at 18,000 CITO events.
EARN YOUR SMILEY: Don't forget to log "Attended" online at geocaching.com. Should you arrive early or late, if you attended the area and filled a bag of trash, you earned your smiley. It's that easy.
If you are sick, stay home and do not participate. Protect yourself while you protect the planet.
Terrain rating: The terrain rating is set at 1.5 if you stay on the sand and off the berms, but it is rated higher if you climb the berms to collect trash. Wear adequate footwear. Regarding the terrain rating, the choice is yours! Either way - bring water, your grabber, wear a hat and apply sunscreen.
