At Pine Flat again, three years going. Oak Flats sites go early.
Directions: I-40 to Tijeras, exit 175. From the USFS site, "Pine Flat Picnic Site is located on NM 337 (aka James McGrane Memorial Highway / Old South 14) approximately 7 miles south of I-40. NM 337 runs parallel to Pine Flat Picnic Site making it easy to identify and enter."
We're in Site 01B again, the one farthest north in this picnic area - turn left from the entrance.
When logging "will attend," please indicate the number of people in your party and the dish you will bring. We will provide hamburgers (green chile, cheese), beef hot dogs, buns, condiments, paper plates, cups, napkins, and utensils. If you want another protein grilled, bring it.
I will have the charcoal grill ready to use by noon.
