In ancient Sasquach folklore a Hockaday is an alpha predator similar to wolves. They run in packs with a dominate male leader and the rest of the pack, called a Goolagon, are all female. They are thought to be what English Bulldogs evolved from. Although hunted almost to extintion due to the Sasquach love of Squash Dogs which are made of Hockaday meat. The one remaining Goolagon lives by the Coquitlam river , living mostly on a diet of wild sauerkraut. Being mainly a mountain species that has legs on one side of the body 4 inches shorter than the other side so they can move quickly around mountain and not fall off. Having to migrate down to see level has been a hard adjustment and they hide really well in the undergrowth to escape scrutiny. If you hear a high pitched wail that sounds like somebody stepped on a cat's tail while playing an accordian then you are close by.
