Geocache Description:

The new cache here is a devious cache, HIPS at Paradise Beach. You’ll have to walk up over the levee, walk a little and reach up a bit to get it.  Parking is free at Glenn Hall Park parking lot.

Paradise Beach is located on a bend in the American River which creates a cove where swimmers, skimmers and sunbathers can play.  Plenty of fishermen try their luck here too. There are lots of hiking areas as this is part of the beautiful American River Parkway. Wildlife I’ve seen here while hiking over the years includes quail, turtles, coyotes, deer, rattlesnakes and once I even saw a red fox. Of course, there are also the occasional human party animals but mostly this is a very peaceful place to explore. I took the photo below the day I placed the cache. Enjoy! Congratulations to MRC1925T as First To Find!
