The series is along the Baw Beese Walking Trail which is part of the North Country Trail system. 

Parking is at the corner of Griswold and Barnard Streets and in the public parks along the lakeshore. The park names are Waterworks Park, Owens Park, and Sandy Beach.  Sometimes a fee is charged to enter Sandy Beach.

Baw Beese Lake has an interesting history and we've been thinking about the ice harvesting business.  In 1929 the ice operation ended.  Why did the ice harvesting business end?
