This cache is located in the Shackelton Woods at Orangevale Community Center Park. Walter and Ethel Shackelton bought 20 acres of this land in 1914. Their daughter Mary, protected these 5 acres and made this park possible. You can read about it on the placard near the entrance of these woods.
In honor of our 25th wedding anniversary of Sept 5, 1998, we are setting up a few caches with the word 'Silver' in them. If you want to find our Silver Anniversary cache GCADTZR, you will need the North coordinates hidden in this cache. Please make a note of it in your app for later use so you don't have to come back and find this one again. Please leave the cords in the cache.
All around GZ, there are pesky sticky burrs in the area... the tiny kind that get stuck all over shoe laces and pant legs. You may need an extraction tool and please replace where you found it.
