When: 16/9/22 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Where: Wentworth Play Park, Salacia Avenue, Howrah
What: A Meet N Greet
Who: For all cachers - new or old (or should I say experienced?)
Why: Because any excuse for an event is a good excuse.
I am going to try to keep this as simple as possible. I plan to use one of the four BBQ's within the park (All listed as Waypoints), we will provide basic BBQ fare (see below), but if you have special dietary requirements feel free to bring something to throw on the barbie. We will gather, socialise, tell stories, and then head on our individual ways. There is access to the beach from the park if anyone fancies a swim.
I am aware that this event is on Saturday which will interfere with some cachers being able to attend due to kids sports, Parkrun and the like.
Now for a favour. If you are reading this page, and you are interested in this event, then share your enthusiasm by contacting any cachers you know who might also be interested in attending, spread the word - the more the merrier.
As some of you more astute members of the geocaching fraternity will notice I have reused almost the exact wording from previous events (as the name suggests I think this will be the 5th, and the same as last time we will be providing the basics for a barbie snags, bread, eggs and dead horse, If anyone wants to help it would be helpful if someone could turn up early and grab the best Barbie (No.3) with the most space.
