Small microcache to discover a bit of Reading football history.
Prior to the apartment blocks you see before you Elm Park was once a football stadium. The stadium was the home of Reading Football Club from 1896 to 1998. After the Taylor Report came out in 1990 it was clear that Reading needed a new stadium and in 1998 they moved from Elm Park to the new Madejski Stadium.
A fun and easy cache to bolster the caches in the area. Please be mindful of apartments, you DO NOT need to leave the footpath or jump any fences :)
